Emily Wisdom, MS

Your Hosts

Kyle Buller, MS

Joe Moore

Co-founder and CEO of Psychedelics Today, co-founder of Vital, and a founding board member of the Psychedelics and Pain Association.

Music for Expanded States | November 9 and 10

Led by Joe Moore and Kyle Buller, with Matthew McDonald of Perpetual Groove and Somnal.

Music shapes the arc of a session. It carries emotion, holds people through the hard stretches, and helps them land afterward. Most practitioners pick it up on their own.

This two-day workshop covers:

  • How music supports preparation, the session itself, and integration

  • Building and sequencing playlists for expanded-state work

  • Music in group process and meaning-making

  • A skillful, ethically grounded approach to music in facilitation and care

Who's Coming

Vital students and alumni: meet your cohort in person, spend the weekend with faculty and fellow graduates, and apply to present your own work.

Psychedelics Today listeners: meet Kyle and Joe off the mic, in a room small enough that you'll actually get to talk.

Colorado practitioners: two days with peers comparing notes as Colorado builds its natural medicine field. An easy drive from Denver and the Front Range.

Breckenridge and Summit County locals: no flight, no hotel. Sleep in your own bed and drive in each day.

Getting Here and Where to Stay

The conference is at the Residence Inn Breckenridge, a short walk from Main Street. Registered attendees get discounted lodging, with details sent after you register. Tickets don't include lodging or meals.

Breckenridge is about two hours from Denver International Airport and sits at 9,600 feet. Early November can bring snow, so check I-70 conditions before you drive.

Present Your Work

Vital alumni can apply for a limited number of presentation slots. We're looking for case studies, field reports, facilitation frameworks, community models, integration approaches, and ethical questions from real practice. The application goes out after you register.
